TERMS Quote For Services Before work begins, Client will receive a Quote outlining the Service(s) to be provided and associated rates. Client will review, sign and return the Quote to SUPERIOR OFFICE SERVICES AND MORE (SOS) and retain a copy for filing. If Client's original requirements change after Quote has been signed, SOS reserves the right to amend the original Quote.
Proofreading Documents are produced in draft prior to final printout. Proofreading of finished product is the responsibility of the Client upon acceptance of the work delivered. Typographical errors made by SOS will be corrected at no charge per Client's request. SOS is not liable for any typographical errors once final printout of work is accepted by Client and any additional corrections or changes will be billed at the normal hourly rate. The exception is when Client has paid for Proofreading Services and then SOS is responsible for making all corrections at no charge to Client.
Data Archiving Client's documents will be archived for a period of sixty days after completion date and then deleted from the database. If Client chooses to have SOS archive documents beyond sixty days, Client will pay a monthly fee for this service based on file size.
Electronic Communications Client agrees that the User ID of a sender contained in an Email is legally sufficient to verify the sender’s identity and the authenticity of the communication, and that an Email sent containing Client’s User ID establishes Client as its originator and has the same effect as a document with Client’s written signature on it.
Hourly Billing Rate Hourly rates are billed in five-minute increments. Billable hours include but are not limited to physical meetings and conference calls, study, background reading and research time, etc., pertaining to the work on Client's Project.
Additional Expenses Additional expenses (e.g., outside printing, custom paper stock, postage, etc.) to be incurred by SOS on Client’s behalf for a Project require Client’s approval and payment in advance. Additional costs not identified at the onset of a Project (e.g., courier services, faxing, long distance charges, etc.) will be included on Client’s Invoice at cost or standard hourly rates, as applicable.
Payment Client will be invoiced upon completion of the work and payment is due upon presentation of the Invoice unless other arrangements have been made. A finance charge of $15 per month will be assessed on accounts delinquent beyond thirty days. A $25 fee will be assessed for each returned check. SOS reserves the right to request a deposit in advance for larger Projects.
Virus Scan Protection Emails sent to SOS are subjected to a virus scan upon receipt. To protect SOS from new viruses, unsolicited Emails received without a message in the body may be considered suspicious and not opened. All documents will be scanned using an Anti-Virus software upon receipt as well as prior to delivery, however, Client must rely on his/her own virus protection software and SOS cannot be held responsible should Client’s document(s) become infected.
Work Content Client is solely responsible for the appropriate use of work produced by SOS, including abiding by any copyright laws, plagiarism laws and publishing requirements. SOS assumes no responsibility for plagiarized material and reserves the right to refuse work for a Client which is found to be illegal, immoral or objectionable.
Data Back-Up and Risk of Loss Prior to utilizing SOS's Computer Support Services, Client has the sole responsibility for adequate back-up of data and protection of Client’s software and equipment relating to the technical support provided by SOS. Client will not make a claim against SOS for any reason, including but not limited to, lost data or software, inaccurate output, work delays or lost profits resulting from the Service(s) provided by SOS.
Service Without Resolution For Computer Support Services, SOS will make every effort to troubleshoot, analyze, assess, correct and otherwise fix and/or repair Client’s computer, network or personal technology problem. If, however, SOS is unable to resolve Client’s technical problem, Client will still be liable for charges for time spent by SOS while attempting to correct Client’s technical problem.
Turnaround Time SOS will make every effort to complete work in the timeframe agreed to, however, SOS cannot be held responsible for problems or delays outside its control.
Privacy SOS respects our Clients’ privacy, assuring discretion at all times to safeguard confidentiality, and Client information is NEVER disclosed or discussed with ANY Third Party. Client may request to see Client’s own data on file and Client may request correction or deletion at any time. SOS will willingly sign a Non-Disclosure or Confidentiality Agreement at Client's request. Original documents are returned to Client or destroyed per Client's instruction. SOS’s goal is to ensure the highest level of security and confidentiality for all Clients.
Right to Refuse SOS reserves the right to refuse providing Service(s) without explanation.
